Why ami exists

Families in our markets pay some of the highest prices in the hemisphere for everyday groceries, and the “value” options on the shelf too often mean a compromise. We thought there was a better way: source each product from the world’s best producer for that category, put it under one honest label, and price it against the value shelf — every week.

How we work

We don’t make everything ourselves. We choose. Every ami product comes from a qualified producer — tomatoes from where tomatoes are best, tuna from where tuna is best — and is packed to our specification, registered in each market, and guaranteed by us.

One brand, one look

The navy ami band with the green line is the same on every pack. The color of the label tells you the aisle: green for vegetables and beans, red for tomato, yellow for corn, orange for fruit, blue for seafood. Find the band, find the value.
